My father-in-law had an in-wall tankless water heater that was leaking profusely. On a recommendation from my son, I called Kyle Covello, and he was amazing, helpful, and informative. He did a thorough inspection, patiently explaining to my aged father-in-law why the old water heater would probably need to be replaced. Even though the old model was a discontinued item and about 18 years old, Kyle still researched to see if he could get parts to repair the unit. He gave us detailed quotations for both a possible repair and a replacement. Ultimately, it was decided to replace the unit with a new one, and Kyle got the unit a couple of days later and replaced it efficiently within a few days after the decision was made to replace the old one. The installment was quick, pristine and everything works flawlessly, plus he charged what the estimate said he would charge. We had two issues: a kitchen faucet with a leaking hose and an aging gas hot water heater that we wanted to replace with an energy-efficient electric heat pump model. We got a shockingly high quote from one plumber and wisely kept shopping. A local plumbing supply store told me about Covello Plumbing. Kyle Covello came over a few hours later and gave me an excellent quote (less than half of the other one); he did the work about a week later. Throughout this process, he always responded very quickly when I texted or called with information or questions. He devoted a great deal of time to getting us the $500 Golden State rebate for the hot water heater and he very cheerfully put up with my anxieties about which model and make were best. He did a beautiful job installing the hot water heater and, when the installation of the condensate drain required moving a shelving unit, he even screwed it to the wall after he put it back into place (something we had never done). Then, after many hours spent dealing with the water heater (requiring three trips to the plumbing supply store and a trip to the landfill), he cheerfully repaired the kitchen faucet for a very reasonable price.
